Faculty of Sciences (Under Graduate Programmes)

B. Sc. (Hons.) Physics programme is for students with a genuine interest in the understanding of fundamental laws of Physics. The objective is to foster a keen spirit for learning among students to groom them into inventive scientists and also enable them to become successful in a wide range of professions. Under this programme, advance level courses in Physics and general courses in Mathematics and Chemistry will be covered. Career opportunities exist in teaching in schools & colleges (after M.Sc.) where any of the science subjects is an important discipline, in defence services. Indian Navy and Airforce, Indian Administrative Services and other State and Central Govt. Services where knowledge of science subjects is an advantage, careers in organizations/industries where a high level of competence in and dependence on Physics is demanded, as scientist in top research laboratories of India.

Admission Criteria: Strictly on Merit No. of Seats: 30
