he programme aims at chiselling a student’s singing talent along with providing an insight into the varied nuances of various ragas, taals and other finer aspects of Indian Classical Music. It opens up the world of Professional Singing, Stage Performances and Film Music for them. Teaching and Research are the other available options. Enriched with this talent, students can even release their own records, cassettes and CDs.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty with 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject concerned or equivalent examination OR
- Master’s degree of GNDU or another University in another subject and in another faculty OR
- Music upto B.A. level will not be compulsory for admission to M.A (Music). The admission may be made on the basis of aptitude & Skill test and having 50% aggregate marks at B.A. level.
- Provided that For M.A.Music(Vocal) examination, only regular candidate shall be eligible
